Yes, it’s cold and dark outside, but hear us out. A morning jog or brisk walk as the sun is rising will do wonders for your health and mental wellbeing. A lot of us are guilty of sleeping for longer during the winter; so set the alarm, get up early and get as much sunshine as you can.

When the weather takes a turn for the worse, you can move your fitness regime indoor. Gyms have a variety of equipment and exercise classes you can take advantage of; however, if the crowds of people on January 1st put you off, you can always exercise at home.
