We all value a decent night’s sleep but if sometime’s we just don’t help ourselves. Foolishly, folk reach for a bottle of wine after a hard day’s work and think ‘ ahh, this will knock me out and send me to sleep’, not realising that the pent up sugars from the alcohol will be rearing up about 3am and cause a great deal of tossing and turning. Opt for milk or horlicks not wine! Other folk, take coffee or tea as a night cap, again a foolish thing to do, caffeine is a such a well known stimulant that it should be common sense to cut back on the ‘brew’ at least 2 hours before hitting the sack…anyway, here’s a fun and quirky infographic detailing some little tricks and tips to help you achieve a super, deep sleep.
